WHAT IS KANSURVIVE?

Kansurvive is a National Cancer Institute funded project that seeks to educate and empower primary care providers serving rural cancer survivors.

We know primary care teams experience barriers in caring for cancer survivors such as educational gaps, communication of treatment history, treatment and recommendations, electronic health record integration and a lack of resources.

Our goal for this project is to help providers and their teams improve the management and follow-up of cancer survivors by providing community practice facilitation and Project ECHO.

Kansurvive provides an opportunity for rural practitioners to have access to valuable resources and experts in the field of cancer treatment and survivorship that are often limited in rural communities.
